Abstract:
To provide a medium supporting device, a printing device, and a medium mounting method capable of changing the position of a medium in the width direction according to the length of the medium in the width direction, with a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: A medium support device 5 comprises a shaft portion 8, a screw member 10, sleeves 9 and 75, flanges 6 and 7, and a restricting member 96. The screw member 10 includes a first threaded groove portion 13 and a second threaded groove portion 14. The sleeve 9 engages the first threaded groove portion 13, and the sleeve 75 engages the second threaded groove portion 14. The first flange 6 is movable in an axial direction K together with the sleeve 9, and the second flange 7 is movable in the axial direction K together with the sleeve 75. When the first flange 6 moves toward one axial end side K1 relative to the screw member 10, the second flange 7 moves toward the other axial end side K2. Meanwhile, when the first flange 6 moves toward the other axial end side K2 relative to the screw member 10, the second flange moves toward one axial end side K1. A restricting member 96 restricts movement of the sleeves 9 and 75 with respect to the screw member 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
