A communication part 5 to a lower heat exchanging chamber 4 is installed eccentrically in the cross section of an upper heat exchanging chamber 2. An inclined face on the bottom of the upper heat exchanging chamber 2 is formed at a different inclined angle around the communication part 5. The inclined angle θmin at a minimum inclined portion is set at 40 degrees to form a gradual inclined face 2b, and the inclined angle θmax at a maximum inclined portion is set at 70 degrees to form a steep inclined face 2a. Thereby, the heating medium 10 on the gradual inclined face 2b side is entangled with the flow of the heating medium 10 dropping on the steep inclined face 2a side and is made to flow into the communication part 5, without increasing the height dimension on the bottom of the upper heat exchanging chamber 2. The heating medium 10, to which metal chloride is adhered, is smoothly dropped to the lower heat exchanging chamber 4, without increasing closing the inlet of the communication part 5.
