Abstract:
1. Magnetic wire (5) for use as bistable switching element (1) in combination with an induction coil (4) consisting of a core (2) and a magnetisable magnetostrictive layer (3) applied thereon, wherein the core (2) and the layer (3) are twisted each relative to the other in the longitudinal axis, characterized thereby, that the core (2) consists of a herder magnetic material and the layer (3) consists of a softer magnetic material.
