To provide a melt treatment facility in waste melt treatment which refines high-quality molten slag at low facility costs, construction costs and maintenance cost.
In the melt treatment facility, one granulation pit 2 is installed for pouring a melt one by one from several waste melting furnaces 1 to granulate the melt, and in the granulation pit 2, a granulation nozzle 3 for forming an outermost layer stream for fragmenting the slag which is tapped and dropped, is arranged for each waste melting furnace 1. Each of the granulation nozzles 3 is provided to be retreated not to disturb the formation of the outermost layer stream with any granulation nozzle 3 except for the granulation nozzle corresponding to the waste melting furnace 1 under tapping, and a grate 7 for separating a large lump of slag greater than a fixed size is provided on the bottom near a carry-away port of a scraper conveyer 5 which is arranged in the granulation pit 2 for scraping together and taking out the granulated slag.
