Abstract:
To provide a melting furnace enabling removal of a chloride and the like sticking to the inside of glass of a peep hole, in the course of operation.
The melting furnace 1 is equipped with the peep hole 15 for peeping from outside into a furnace main body 2 holding and melting a matter to be melted, a transparent plate 18 fitted to the peep hole, liquid spraying equipment 18, W, P and V for blowing a fluid against the inside surface of the transparent plate and a control device C controlling the operation of the fluid spraying equipment.
