Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting method and a melting device of a metal ingot capable of efficiently melting a plurality of metal ingots, without using a large-sized melting device.SOLUTION: In a melting method of a metal ingot, a second metal ingot W2 is placed on a first metal ingot W1, at least its part is melted by heating the first metal ingot W1, the first metal ingot W1 is crushed by pressurizing from above, its whole is melted by continuously heating the first metal ingot W1, at least its part is melted by heating the second metal ingot W2, the second metal ingot W2 is crushed by pressurizing from above, and its whole is melted by continuously heating the second metal ingot W2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
