Abstract:
To provide an opening/closing drive device that is easy to downsize.SOLUTION: An opening/closing drive device 1 comprises: a motor 6 comprising a motor body 28, and a rotating shaft 27 protruding from the motor body 28; a wire 85 for supplying electric power to the motor 6; an output shaft 7 to which a toilet lid 201 is connected; a transmission mechanism 8 for transmitting the drive force of the motor 6 to the output shaft 7; and a case 9 housing the motor 6 and the transmission mechanism 8. The rotating shaft 27 extends in a direction orthogonal to the output shaft 7. When viewed from a first direction Z along an axis L of the output shaft 7, the rotating shaft 27 is inclined with respect to a longitudinal direction (second direction Y) of the case 9. The transmission mechanism 8 comprises a gear train. When viewed from the axial direction (first direction Z), the output shaft 7 and the motor body 28 overlap with each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
