Abstract:
To provide an opening/closing member driving device that facilitates meshing a potentiometer's potentiometer gear and a gear that meshes with the potentiometer gear at a determined position.SOLUTION: In an opening/closing member driving device 3, a potentiometer gear 39 of a potentiometer 15 meshes with a gear portion 24 for detecting the rotation angle position of an output shaft 11. The gear portion 24 for detecting the rotation angle position includes a first tooth portion 91 of a first dimension Q1, a second tooth portion 92 of a second dimension Q2, and a first space 93 having a height of a third dimension Q3 in the circumferential direction of the first tooth portion 91 and on one side of the axial direction X of the second tooth portion 92. A gear body portion 52 of the potentiometer gear 39 circumferentially includes a toothed portion 97 that meshes with the first tooth portion 91 and a toothless portion 98 capable of entering a first space 93. When the potentiometer gear 39 is meshed with the gear portion 24 for detecting rotation angle position, the toothless portion 98 of the potentiometer gear 39 is made to enter the first space 93 and the toothed portion 97 is made to mesh with the first tooth portion 91.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
