In this memory card connector, a wide card housing space the whole of which is shown by 40 is provided between the side walls of an upper housing part 11, a wide card is housed in it, a narrow card housing space 42 is provided between the side walls 31 of a lower housing part 12, a narrow card is housed in it, the lower housing part contains a plurality of mounting bosses 44 to mount a plurality of guide plates 46, and the guide plate 46 separates the card housing space 40 from the other space 42 and supports guiding various memory cards into the connector.
