Abstract:

To limit unauthorized browsing to the encrypted contents.

This memory card is provided with an IC card chip 013 for storing a license, a memory 016 for storing encrypted contents which can be decoded by using the license and a controller 010 for controlling the IC card chip and the memory according to an instruction from a user terminal 008. A license server 019 updates the license by using the list of valid memory cards and information outputted by the clock of the license server.
