PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of analyzing operation for the cause of trouble by starting a memory dumping process program by referring to the segment address and offset value of an interruption table in response to the depression of a specific key which is predetermined by the system.
CONSTITUTION: A transaction program which is loaded when the system is started up loads the memory dumping process program 1. Further, the segment address and offset value of the memory dumping process program 1 are registered in the interruption table 2 that MS-DOS offers corresponding to keys. If software logical trouble occurs in this state to halt the system and an operator presses the specific key, the memory dumping process program 1 registered in the interruption table 2 is started through the keyboard control part 3 of MS-DOS. Consequently, the cause of the software logical trouble is easily analyzed.
