PURPOSE: To make processing correspondent to a dynamic change in a display position, form and contents for the respective items of a menu by determining the processing based on the contents of a changed menu management table and coordinate value designated by a pointing device.
CONSTITUTION: The coordinate value selected by the pointing device of an input part (A) 1 is sent to a control part 8 and in the control part 8, a menu management table 9 is searched. Then, the item to hold the coordinate value in an internal part is decided and a processing ID is calculated. Next, when the processing ID is calculated, the control part 8 activates the processing to be determined by the processing ID. When the processing selected by an operator is picture operating processing such as enlarging, reducing, rotating or scrolling, etc., a menu picture, the menu management table 9 is changed corresponding to picture operation and display is executed according to the contents of the menu management table 9. Thus, the processing can be made correspondent to the dynamic change in the display position, form and contents for the respective items of the menu.
