To accurately switch the width setting of a merchandise path corresponding to inserted merchandise by positioning a link mechanism at a setting position for thin can at ordinary times and automatically setting that link mechanism at a setting position for thick can when the thick can is put in.

A link mechanism 13 is provided on an upside inclined rack 8 so as to face both dam plates 15 and 16. Then, this link mechanism is constituted as a four-joint link, provided with a pair of front and rear links 13a and 13b respectively freely turnably linked through turn rods 17 and 17 to a base plate 14 and an intermediate link 13b freely turnably linked through turn rods 18 and 18 between these links 13a and 13a. Then, this link mechanism 13 is set at the setting position for thin can, suitable for holding/storing the thin can at the ordinary time, driven by the inserted thick can when the thick can is put in, and automatically set at the setting position for thick can suitable for holding/storing the thick can. Therefore, the work to change the width setting for the merchandise path 11 is not required at all.
