To alternately issue a receipt even at the time of omitting-postponing the exchange of receipt paper by reading receipt information stored in a storing card so as to allow another electronic cash register or a dedicated machine to issue a receipt with printed receipt information.

When a rewrite card is inserted to a card writer 30, a write storing/printing control means (CPU 11, ROM 12) magnetically write-stores receipt information in a rewrite card (storing card) and visibly prints the same receipt information in a rewrite part. A card reader 30 reads stored receipt information from the inserted rewrite card to erase receipt information of rewrite part. Then, another electronic cash register 10 or a dedicated machine issues a receipt obtained by printing the receipt information on receipt paper by using a printer 24 i.e., another printer through the use of receipt information read from the storing card.
