PURPOSE: To simplify the processing for a message output request and a message output cancelling request by updating the message storing presence of the bit position of a cue control map to a message storing absence with a message output cancelling request.

CONSTITUTION: By accompanying the message output request, a cue control map 7 of a message area 2 is formed at a message control table 3 and the presence and absence of the message storing are displayed. Namely, a message is read out of a message storing presence message data area, outputted to a printer 5 and a display device 6, and for the message output cancelling request, the message storing presence of the bit position of the cue control map 7 is updated to the message storing absence. Consequently, the message of the message output cancelling request is removed. Thus, the processing of the message output request and the message output cancelling request is facilitated.
