Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a metal ball detector which has longevity and is hard to receive the effect of an outside factor, by detecting the passage of a metal ball by detecting by means of a hole sensor that magnetic flux density between the metal ball and a magnetization portion increases when the metal ball has passed a detection hole.
CONSTITUTION: This metal ball detector is equipped at the prize opening or the like of a pachinko (Japanese pin ball game) machine and detects the passage of a metal ball. In this instance, a detection hole 3 having a hole diameter through which the passage of a metal ball is possible, is penetrated through a case body 1 that is made of synthetic resin and forms a thin plate shape, in a plate thickness direction. A magnetization portion 5, a hole sensor 6, a signal processing circuit 7 and a wiring portion 8 or the like for connecting these together are assembled into the inside of a housing portion 4 provided on one side portion of the detection hole 3 in the case body 1. When a metal ball passes the detection hole 3, magnetic flux density between the metal ball and the magnetization portion 5 increases, so this is detected by means of the hole sensor 6, and the passage of the metal ball is detected. As a result, a detector which has longevity and is hard to receive the effect of an outside factor, is obtained.
