Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal block built-in wiring board capable of enhancing fixing strength to a substrate having a metal block than before, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In a metal block built-in wiring board 10, the side surfaces of a metal block 17 built in a cavity 16 of a core substrate 11 are a groove type side surface 17A which is curved so as to be deepened toward the center. As a result, the side surfaces of the metal block 17 can make a contact area with a filling resin 16J larger than that of a flat surface, and fixing strength can be made higher than before.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
