New metal chelates (I) (optionally in salt form) contain (a) perfluorinated polyethylene glycol (PEG) residue(s), (b) chelator residue(s) and (c) at least one equivalent of metal(s) of atomic number 21-29, 31-33, 37-39, 42-44, 49 or 57-83. An independent claim is included for new metal-free chelating agent intermediates (II), containing the components (a) and (b). ACTIVITY : Cytostatic. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Radiotherapy.
