Abstract:
To provide a carried catalyst suitable for producing a high-molecular weight olefin polymer, and to provide a polymerization method using the same.
A new complex as the catalyst suitable for olefin polymerization is represented by formula I or I.1. As necessary, the metal complex is carried on a silica gel or aluminosilicate gel. This metal complex is to be used in (co)polymerizing an olefin through combining with an activator such as aluminoxane.
