Abstract:
To provide a metal complex having an excellent gas-separating performance.
This metal complex comprises a dicarboxylic acid compound in whose structure the carboxy groups are located at an angle of 120° to each other, such as an isophthalic acid derivative, a 2,7-naphthalene dicarboxylic acid derivative, or 4,4'-benzophenone dicarboxylic acid derivative, at least one metal selected from chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, manganese, iron, ruthenium, cobalt, rhodium, nickel, palladium, copper, zinc and cadmium, and an organic ligand which can form a bidentate on the metal, such as 4,4'-bipyridyl.
