To provide a metal container with a metal cap screwed tightly thereto, which is easy to mold its neck/spout part and furthermore delivers excellent sealing performance with the cap.
The metal container 10 made of thin-walled metal plate is such that it is made of thin-walled steel plate, and the cap 20 is made of elastic thin-walled metal plate having lower tensile strength than that of the thin-walled steel plate, while the thin-walled steel plate that constitutes the metal container 10 is of a film-laminated steel plate having, on both its front and reverse surfaces, laminated thermoplastic resin films, and the neck/spout part 12 is composed of a cylindrical section 311 which is made by drawing the bottom plate 310 of a bottomed cylindrical blank 300 so as for the bottom plate to become bottomed cylindrical and to be extended thin-walled, the blank 300 made of the film-laminated steel plate molded in the shape of a bottomed cylinder, with the tensile strength of the thin-walled steel plate that constitutes the metal container after molding characteristically being set at 400 N/mm
