Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide faujasite type zeolite where part of the location to be occupied by A1 in a crystal structure is replaced and occupied by a specific metal and its production.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of a compound of at least one metal selected from iron or titanium family metals with sources of silica, alumina and alkali is prepared. By heating and crystallizing the mixture under the conditions where faujasite zeolite is formed, metal containing zeolite whose oxide composition is (0.1-0.15)A12O3/(0.6-0.8)SiO2/(0.1-0.2)M'2O/(0.001-0.1)MmOn is obtained, where M' is alkali metal, M is iron or titanium family metal, MmOn is oxide of metal M, (m) and (n) are positive integers, and figures in parentheses are mole compositions.
