Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fastener which prevents deformation of first and second joint members when they are fastened to each other.
SOLUTION: According to the fastening, the first and second joint members 32, 34 are brought into contact with each other, and a bolt 14 as a first member is inserted into holes 76, 78 formed in the respective first and second joint members 32, 34. Then, a taper portion 16 of the bolt 14 is driven into the first joint member 32, and a taper portion 64 of a taper washer 62 is driven into the second joint member 34, followed by screwing a nut 24 onto a male screw 20 of the bolt 14, to thereby fasten the first and second joint members 32, 34 to each other.
