Abstract:
To provide a metal mask capable of preventing a shadow from occurring while holding strength, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A metal mask 20 includes: a first surface; and a second surface 20b positioned on the side opposite to the first surface. The first surface includes an open hole, a first top part and a second top part. The open hole has first to sixth open holes. The respective open holes have a minor axis and a major axis; a first major axis parallel to a second major axis is positioned next to the second major axis; the first minor axis parallel to a fifth minor axis is positioned next to the fifth minor axis; a third major axis parallel to a fourth major axis is positioned the fourth major axis; a third minor axis parallel to a sixth minor axis is positioned next to the sixth minor axis. The first top part is positioned between the first major axis and the second major axis and between the third major axis and the fourth major axis; and the second top part is positioned between the first minor axis and the fifth minor axis and between the third minor axis and the sixth minor axis; and the height H1 of the first top part is higher than the height H2 of the second top part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
