Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a metal mold for extrusion molding which has three kinds of large, middle and small rectangular cells, and is capable of evenly supplying a molding raw material to the entire slits.SOLUTION: There is provided a metal mold 10 for fabricating a molding in which first cells and second cells having a smaller cross-sectional area than the first cell are vertically and horizontally arranged alternately and third cells having a smaller cross-sectional area than the second cell are vertically and horizontally arranged alternately, in which the mold is made up of a raw material supply part equipped with first through-holes 12, and a molding part equipped with a second through-hole communicating with the first through-hole, the second through-hole consists of an outermost peripheral slit 15a forming an outermost peripheral wall and internal slits 15b forming inner cell partitions, pins 15c which have a rectangular shape in plane view and form first, second and third cells are formed in partition areas of the internal slits, the width of an area of a pin forming the third cell which is connected to the raw material supply part is 2 to 3 times the width of a pin 15e forming the third cell, the first through-holes are provided not to be overlapped with an intersection point of each slit, and provided to be overlapped with pins forming the second cell.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
