Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold for molding, in which position alignment can be performed easily between a resin body and an electrostatic capacitance sensor sheet, and high-precision detection is made possible and which can allow the electrostatic capacitance sensor sheet to be connected surely to the outside, and to provide a method for producing an electrostatic capacitance type input switch by using the metal mold for molding.SOLUTION: The metal mold for molding includes: a male mold 1 into which the electrostatic capacitance sensor sheet 16 having flexibility is inserted; and a female mold 2 which is clamped to the male mold 1. A molding resin material having flowability is packed in a cavity space 3 between the clamped male mold 1 and female mold 2 to integrate the inside of a support panel with the electrostatic capacitance sensor sheet 16 so that the electrostatic capacitance type input switch 10 can be produced. A plurality of positioning projections 30 for penetrating the electrostatic capacitance sensor sheet 16 are formed on the cavity formation surface 6 of the male mold 1. A boss formation hole 31 for the support panel is bored on each of the positioning projections 30 and a columnar pin 32 is formed on the inner bottom surface of the boss formation hole.
