To provide a metal nano cup array which is applicable as a minute reaction field for micro-arrays, and a method for manufacturing the same.
The metal nano cup array is presented, in which a metal nano cup 70 consisting of a cup-shaped metallic thin film is arranged on a substrate. The metal nano cup array is manufactured by a method including a polymer arranging process which arranges polymer particles 40 on the concave portion of a substrate 10 which has fine irregular structure, a vapor deposition process which vapor-deposes the metallic thin film 50 on the surface of the substrate 10 on which the polymer particles 40 are arranged, a transfer process which transfers the polymer particles 40 the metallic thin film 50 is vapor-deposited to another substrate 60, and a polymer removal process which removes the polymer particles 40.
