To prevent the carburizing reaction of a product on sintering and to effectively obtain a sintered product with low carbon and high quality by covering a metal powder forming body being arranged in a furnace body with a cover being made of ceramic and by separating the metal powder forming body from a carbon material.
A furnace body 1 consists of a closed structure except an exhaust vent 1a and connects a device for drawing a vacuum to the exhaust vent 1a. On the other hand, a carbonaceous heat-insulating box 3 is arranged in the furnace body 1, a carbonaceous heater 2 and a carbonaceous tight box 6 for radiation are arranged in the heat-insulating box 3, and a metal powder injection forming body is placed on a plurality of placement stands 5 that are laminated in the tight box 6. A cover 7 made of ceramic is arranged so that it covers the placement stands 5, thus preventing a carbon constituent gas being generated when sintering progresses from being brought into contact with a carbon material in the furnace body and preventing the forming body from being carburized.
