Abstract:
To provide a metal-rubber composite member which allows a metal layer and a rubber layer to be directly bonded, has sufficient rubber characteristics, and is free from the occurrence of corrosion of the metal layer.SOLUTION: The metal-rubber composite member of the present application is a composite member in which a metal layer and a rubber layer are directly bonded. The rubber layer is formed using a rubber composition containing (A) an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber, (B) a polyolefin, (C) an azo-based polymerization initiator, and (D) a polyfunctional thiol compound. The blending ratios in the rubber composition are 0.1-5 pts.mass of the polyolefin (B), 0.01-2 pts.mass of the azo-based polymerization initiator (C), and 0.01-5 pts.mass of the polyfunctional thiol compound (D) to 100 pts.mass of the ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber (A).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
