Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic cord in which enhancement of strength is compatible with improvement of fatigue resistance and endurance can be improved while performing lightening.
SOLUTION: This metallic cord 10 is obtained by aligning in parallel 1 to 12 pieces of two-dimensionally embossed filaments Fa to high-strength filament F having 4,000 to 5,500 N/mm2 tensile strength and 0.1 to 0.35 mm diameter D or twisting the filament F together with filaments Fa. The metallic cord 10 has 2-6% breaking elongation.
