The metallic fixture is made up of a base plate portion which exhibits a rectangular shape and is rotatably linked to an opening/closing tool such as a door, a side portion which extends along four peripheral sides of the base plate portion and is bent at almost right angles with respect to the base plate portion, and fixing portions which extend from at least a pair of opposed sides of the side portion in a direction opposite to the base portion. The periphery of the base plate portion is deformed so as to have a curved surface, whereby almost spherical shoulders 7 are formed at respective four corner portions of the base portion.
