PURPOSE: To always obtain the stable quality of a cast product even if the temp. of molten metal poured into a metallic mold varies.
CONSTITUTION: A time T1 of interval from start of the pouring of molten metal into the metallic mold till completion of the pouring and a time T3 of interval from opening of the mold till taking-out of the product are kept constant. Further, a time T2 of interval from the completion of the pouring till the opening of the mold is made longer in the case the molten metal temp. detected with a thermosensor is higher and made shorter in the case the temp. is lower. By this method, the quality of the product can be stabilized without controlling the metallic mold temp. according to the molten metal temp. by a metallic mold cooling means.
