Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metamaterial film which enables a metamaterial to be simply mounted even on an object having a curved surface, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: In a metamaterial film 10, a plurality of fine resonators 12 that resonate with electromagnetic waves having a specific wavelength of 400 nm or more and 2,000 nm or less are arranged in an in-plane direction of a resin film 14 which transmits electromagnetic waves having a specific wavelength and has a thickness of 50 μm or less. For instance, a coating liquid containing a resin or a resin precursor is applied onto a support substrate 30 to form a first resin layer 14A which transmits electromagnetic waves having a specific wavelength and has a thickness of 50 μm or less, a plurality of fine resonators arranged in an in-plane direction of the first resin layer are formed on the first resin layer, a second resin layer 14B which transmits electromagnetic waves having a specific wavelength and has a thickness of 50 μm or less is formed on the first resin layer on which the plurality of fine resonators are formed, and the first resin layer on which the plurality of fine resonators are formed is peeled from the support substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
