A metering arrangement is adapted for dispensing metered quantities of liquid from a container 1 via a lower outlet passage 8 of the container 1. The metering arrangement includes a first valve 9 which is placed in the outlet passage 8 to be opened in response to an excess pressure in the container 1 and to be closed in response to a negative pressure in the container 1. The metering arrangement further includes second valves 16, 17 which are placed at a position higher than that of the first valve 9 in the outlet passage 8 to be closed in response to opening of the first valve 9 and to be opened in response to a negative pressure. The metering arrangement accurately dispenses liquid by the same size of portion whenever dispensing operation is performed.
