Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a conjugated diene polymer having less lithium residue left and therefore causing no problem of discoloration of a polymer and no problem of clogging of a solution filter hindering the production operation.SOLUTION: The method for producing a conjugated diene polymer includes (I) a step of performing polymerization reaction by using an organolithium compound as an initiator in a hydrocarbon solvent and adding a polymerization terminator to produce a conjugated diene polymer solution, (II) a step of adding a 8-18C aliphatic carboxylic acid in a molar amount of 0.01 to 0.5 times as much as lithium included in the organolithium compound and an amine-based compound in a molar amount of 0.1 to 2.0 times as much as lithium included in the organolithium compound to the conjugated diene polymer solution, and a step (III) of adding water in an amount of 1 to 150 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the polymer to the conjugated diene polymer solution to produce a mixed liquid in this order.SELECTED DRAWING: None
