To provide a method and a system by which a communication address allocated to a home page to be read is accessed only by reading out and scanning two-dimensional(2D) code by a scanner without necessitating the input of the address by operating a keyboard.
A 2D code 3 in an Internet pin point access system S is constituted so as to include at least a character string such as the communication address of a URL and its terminal code and a scanner 2 reads out the 2D code 3 by scanning, converts the code 3 into a character string obtained by adding the terminal code to the character string of the communication address and transmits the character string to a communication terminal equipment 1 as communication data. At the time of extracting the communication address from the communication data transmitted from the scanner 2, the equipment 1 starts a previously prepared browser and transfers the character string of the extracted communication address to the started browser so as to automatically access the communication address included in the 2D code 3.
