Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently activating a denatured protein and a kit for protein refolding.
SOLUTION: This method for activating a denatured protein comprises a process for adding a surfactant to a denatured protein to form a protein/ surfactant complex and a process for adding a high-molecular weight amylose to the protein/surfactant complex to remove the surfactant by the high-molecular weight amylose. This kit for protein refolding is provided with at least one kind of a high-molecular weight amylose and at least one kind of a surfactant.
