Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable use of coal having caking property as coal for blowing into a blast furnace.
CONSTITUTION: After adjusting inert component content of the coal having caking property to ≥35 vol.%, this coal is finely pulverized and used as the coal for blowing into the blast furnace. By this method, the whole coal from the non-caking coal to the caking coal can be used as the coal for blowing into the blast furnace, and the immeasurable profit on coal purchasing policy, manufacture of cake and blast furnace operation is obtd.
