To provide a method for treating a dog for canine diseases by administering to the dog a therapeutically effective amount of a vaccine.
The method for administering a vaccine to a dog is characterized in that the vaccine comprises a viral antigen, a bacterin, or both, and the viral antigen comprises one or a plurality of members selected from among a canine distemper virus, a canine adenovirus type 2, a canine parainfluenza virus, a canine parvovirus, and a canine coronavirus, the bacterin comprises one or plural members selected from among Leptospira canicola, Bordetella bronchiseptica, etc., and the vaccine is administered in divided doses the first of which is subcutaneously or orally administered, the second of which is orally administered, and the third, which is optional, is orally administered, and is orally administered once a year.
