Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve a loss probability and to effectively utilize a communication network by allocating a communication channel whose estimated current band utility rate is least to a call sent from a call source.

CONSTITUTION: Band allocation devices 12-1 to 12-n are provided in call sources 10-1 to 10-n respectively, utility rate measurement devices 16-1 to 16-mij measuring the band utility rate of a communication channel are provided on communication channels 14-1 to 14-mij, the band allocation devices 12-1 to 12-n store a timewise history of the band utility rate sent with a delay from the utility rate measurement devices 16-1 to 16-mij for the communication channels, a current band utility rate is estimated by applying linear approximation correction to the stored history information and the communication channel whose estimated current band utility rate is least to a call sent from a call source. Thus, the communication channel having a closest band utility rate is selected and the band is allocated to the call, then a vibration of the band utility rate of each channel is suppressed.
