Abstract:
To suppress the generation of dioxin by burning Catrel(R) at a high temperature, to prevent the sticking of combustion ash to the heat transfer surface and to further suppress the intergranular corrosion of the surface with hydrogen chloride.
The apparatus for burning pulverized coal comprises a burner 2 having a pulverized coal injection nozzle 23 for injecting the pulverized coal 3 mixed with Catrel(R) 30 to burn it and a calcium injection nozzle 33 provided on the outer periphery of the nozzle 23 to inject calcium 34.
