Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus useful for cleaning a lacquer supply conduit in a coating apparatus.
SOLUTION: The lacquer supply conduit extends from at least one storage container (2, 9) to at least one coating apparatus (3), and a lacquer flows through the conduit during an operation step. During a cleaning step provided between operation steps, a cleaning agent is fed under pressure through a supply conduit (1). An inert gas is used as a gas, and the supply conduit (1) is filled with the inert gas at the end of the cleaning step. The inert gas is left standing until a next operation step is started.
