Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain color correction by calculating a color correction coefficient to constitute a delicate color conversion determinant by dividing an RGB space in an application method by a characteristic of color reproduction system. CONSTITUTION: A color space is properly divided by the characteristic of the color reproduction system and many color correction coefficients calculated by every area are stored in a lookup table 24. An area judging part 22 is provided with frequency dividers 211 to 223 to divide frequency of inputted data by N and an address decoder 225 to decode outputs of the frequency dividers 221 to 223 and to output corresponding addresses. And the corresponding color correction coefficient is outputted by outputting the address corresponding to the area to which inputted RGB data corresponds to the lookup table 24 after the area is judged. In addition, the color correction is performed by adding the color correction coefficient of the corresponding area to the inputted RGB image data after multiplying the color correction coefficient by an arithmetic unit and adder part 26.
