Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase sepn. efficiency by drawing a part of an eluate as a sample, mixing the sample and a diluting liquid, determining the dilute sample by a capillary type isokinetic electrophoresis device, judging the results by a data processor and continuing the analysis or selecting valves.

CONSTITUTION: The sample and diluting liquid fed from sample and diluting liquid pumps 14, 19 are mixed in a mixer 17 and the mixture is analyzed in an analyzer 27. The results of the analysis are processed in the data processor 28. Whether the analysis data is above set data (for example, 0.5wt.%) or not is then checked. Confirmation is made that only the serine is included in the eluate if the content of the serine is ≥0.5wt.% and the content of the glycine ≤0.5wt.% in case of appearance of both a 1st component serine and the 2nd component glycine. The processor 28 is then stopped and the next analysis is effected. Solenoid valves 8, 10 are closed and a valve 9 is opened to isolate the serine into a tank 6. Confirmation is made that the serine does no longer exist in the eluate and only the glycine exists therein when the content of the serine attains ≤0.5wt.% and the content of the glycine ≥0.5wt.%. The solenoid valves 8, 9 are then closed and the valve 17 is opened to isolate the glycine into a tank 7.
