Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform quick restart in an engine which performs automatic stop and restart.SOLUTION: A method for stopping an internal combustion engine reduces an air amount to be supplied for the internal combustion engine via an air distribution device, a throttle valve 100 in particular after a stop request is detected, and again increases the air amount to be supplied for the internal combustion engine via the air distribution device 100 when the detected number n of rotation of the internal combustion engine is below the number of rotation threshold ns that can be regulated. An intake cylinder 10 with which the intake amount is supplied does not shift to a combustion cycle any longer after the air amount to be supplied has increased.
