The apparatus for corrugating a metal pipe comprises a rolling gear (1) which circulates around a pipe (P) which is to be worked while rotates itself. A drive means (2) circulates the rolling gear (1). A braking means (3) brakes rotation of the rolling gear (1) caused by forced feeding of the pipe (P).
