Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DEHYDRATING ALGAE WITHOUT USING CONTINUOUS FLOW MEMBRANE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010284643
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide an algae dehydration system which is useful in an environment containing algae of low concentration and high concentration, and located at a taking-in source of the algae so as to efficiently collect and dehydrate the algae.
This invention relates to the system for condensing and dehydrating the algae without using a continuous flow membrane. This system is provided with a dehydration device including an inlet for receiving the fluid containing the algae, a curved channel in which the fluid containing the algae densely gathers in belt-like flow shifted from a center of the curved channel, a first outlet for the fluid in which algae in the belt-like flow flows, and a second outlet for the remaining fluid.
