To provide a method and apparatus for detaching a vulcanized strip with lugs from a pressing machine.
An unloader 130 is used in order to detach the strip with the lugs from a pressing machine (not shown in the drawing). The unloader 130 has a pair of mutually adjacent horizontal sharp tip members (not shown in the drawing) arranged so as to leave an interval in order to pull the strip 152 with the lugs to the unloader 130 from the pressing machine and a press lug mold (not shown in the drawing). At least one sharp tip member has a conveyor belt attached to the upper surface thereof in order to assist the detachment of the strip 152 with the lugs from the pressing machine. The conveyor belt 180 extends unidirectionally in order to pull the strip 152 to the unloader 130 and extends in the opposite direction in order to assist the detachment of the vulcanized strip 152 from the unloader 130.
