To provide a method capable of directly determining human sensation in three or more classes.
The sensation determining apparatus 2 includes an electroencephalograph 4 for measuring brain waves of a human, an operation part 14 and a CMAC classifier 20. The operation part 14 is configured to execute the frequency analysis of the brain waves, the determination of the feature value of the brain waves based on the result of the frequency analysis, and the determination of an objective evaluation corresponding to an output value obtained from the CMAC classifier 20. The CMAC classifier 20 is configured to obtain the output value by CMAC from the feature value obtained from the brain waves. The determination of the feature value of the brain waves includes: a step of extracting a frequency from the entire analyzed frequencies; a step of calculating the feature value on the basis of the extracted frequency; a step of evaluating a correct answer rate by the calculated feature value; a step of determining the frequency on the basis of the evaluation of the correct answer rate; and a step of determining the feature value on the basis of the determined frequency.
