Abstract:

PURPOSE: To dry grain in a natural drying mode by holding the dry state equivalent to the dry state by solar heat.
CONSTITUTION: Grain is deposited in a laminar state in a dry house 1 formed of a solar light permeating wall. The grain is dried by the radiation heat of the solar light incident into the house 1. A far infrared radiator 8 for supplementing the radiation heat of the solar light is provided in the house 1. The substantially maximum value of the radiation heat quantity per unit time by the solar light during sunshine time is used as a reference heat quantity, and the radiation heat quantity of the radiator 8 is so controlled as to hold the reference heat quantity by matching the radiation at quantity per unit time by the solar light and the radiation heat quantity per unit time radiated from the radiator 8. An upper surface-opened grain deposit tank 2 for depositing the grain in a laminar state in the house 1 and drying it is provided in the house 1. The radiator 8 is provided above the tank 2.
